A New Chapter of Compassion Begins
This week, Albatross Care took a meaningful step in its mission to support vulnerable communities by visiting Katherine Brink, founder of the incredible non-profit organisation, Little Brinks Helping Hands. This heartfelt meeting marked more than just the delivery of warmth – it signalled the beginning of a powerful new partnership.
Little Brinks was the very first recipient of the blankets donated through the ongoing Albatross Blanket Drive, and it quickly became clear that their story resonated deeply with the Albatross team. What started as a simple gesture of support has now grown into something far more impactful.
We are proud to announce that Albatross Care has officially adopted Little Brinks for an initial period of six months. During this time, our team will walk alongside Katherine and her family as they continue their life-changing work providing refuge, safety, and hope to women, children, and now teenage boys who have experienced trauma and displacement.
Roger Brijlal, Paul Webb, and Guinalda Nash have already begun working on plans to provide ongoing support to this incredible sanctuary – a place where healing begins with love, dignity, and trust. From logistical aid and resource support to strategic development, Albatross is committed to standing shoulder to shoulder with the dedicated team at Little Brinks.
Katherine, a single mother raising seven adopted children, has created more than a shelter – she has built a family of care that has become a beacon of hope for so many. It is this very spirit of unconditional compassion that Albatross Care is honoured to stand behind.
This partnership is not just about giving – it’s about growing together. Together, Albatross Care and Little Brinks Helping Hands aim to inspire a ripple effect of kindness and community-led change.
We look forward to sharing more updates as this journey unfolds. And as always, we invite you – our partners, friends, and supporters – to join us as we continue to Care With Purpose.
