On June 16th, 2025,Youth Day, we paid tribute to the brave individuals who fought for freedom. At Albatross Care, founded by Roger Brijlal, we’re dedicated to empowering youth and creating positive change in the lives of women, children, and those in need.
This year, Albatross Care, supported by Guinalda Nash ,General Manger and driving force behind Albatross Tours, sponsored Netball teams in Mannenberg for Youth Day .
Our very own Renaldo Bezuidenhout leads this tournament every year , drawing from her own passion for Netball, which began at age 9. After her team disbanded in 2009, Renaldo took the initiative to form MANNENBERG Ladies United in 2010. With unwavering dedication, she’s continued to drive positive change in this gang-ridden area, using sport to keep children off the streets.
Empowering youth through sport is fundamental to Albatross Care’s mission. By providing opportunities for young people to engage in sports, we help them build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.
